Active Learning today:Implementation in distance modalities

“Active Learning today:Implementation in distance modalities”

Active learning focuses on putting our students at the forefront of our lessons. It is a greater
emphasis on learning over teaching. What does this mean in today’s online teaching?
With a sound pedagogical foundation, this session will focus on the practical aspects of active
learning at a distance. The session will provide a practical understanding of the active learning
approach and apply this to today’s remote classrooms, taking into account brain-based research and
the needs of students in 21st century society.
